Scott M. Costanza Psy.D. is a Licensed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist in the state of Florida. He specializes in adult and adolescent psychopathology and forensic psychology. As a highly trained and experienced clinical and forensic psychologist, Dr. Costanza has been diagnosing, training and evaluating individuals for more than 20 years. For the last 19 years he has served as the executive director of C.O.R.T.E. where he is also the owner.
Dr. Costanza provides comprehensive clinical and forensic services using evidenced based models of treatment, interventions, and methods of assessment. Services are provided in a prompt, ethical, and professional manner with a focus on the emotional and intellectual needs of each individual. Both of Dr. Costanza's offices provide a comfortable, welcoming and confidential environment for his patients. Dr. Costanza treats both adults and adolescents in individual and group settings.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Dr. Costanza earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Plattsburgh State University in Plattsburgh, New York. Dr. Costanza attended Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida where he earned both a Master Degree and Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology. He completed his internship at Bayview Mental Health Center in Miami, Florida and did his residency at South County Mental Health Center in Delray Beach, Florida. Dr. Costanza has two years Post-Doctoral training at the Psychoanalytic Institute along with extensive training and supervision in both cognitive-behavioral and forensic training and experience. For over 20 years Dr. Costanza has been providing supervision and training for residents, interns and psychology students. Dr. Costanza is a Certified Forensic Examiner providing expert witness testimony for the 15th Judicial Circuit and surrounding areas since 1998.
